According to an article in the St. Petersburg Times opponents of allowing Floridians the right to vote on how their community will be developed are predicting they will spend 65 MILLION dollars - YES 65 million dollars to stop an iniative called Hometown Democracy. We live in a democracy and that means everyone is entitled to express their view … BUT in our opinion you should not try to trick the people to sign your petition; Floridians For Smarter Growth has designed petitions in a deliberate way to look like the grassroots Hometown Democracy petitions.
